About Us
We are a small greenhouse nursery located in Critz, VA. We Started Round Hill Plants in 2009 as a hobby that quickly turned in to a small business. We sell our hanging baskets, container plants and vegetable plants at local farmers markets and our store location.
The Name: When we were deciding on a good name for our business, “Round Hill” the name of our Southern Living house plan came to mind. Since we live on a small hill Round Hill Plants was born.

Jonathan Witt
Head Grower
Jonathan started his cheerer by taking horticulture classes at his local high school in 2009. During that same year he and his mother started Round Hill Plants as a hobby, but it quickly turned into a full time job taking care of all the plants. In 2012 he went to Ferrum College to pursue a degree in Horticulture Science. He is also the First Place Champion of the 2010 Virginia State FFA Nursery & Landscape Competition.
